Problem Sets (1/3 of grade): Because this is a hands-on course, there will be a heavy focus on the homework. There will be one problem set for every topic we cover, about eight in all.  Additionally, there will be 4 or 5 lab assignments. Homework assignments are submitted online, while lab assignments are done in class.

Exams (2/3 of grade): There will be two exams of equal time and weight (a midterm mid-semester and a final during finals period at the scheduled time). They will be non-cumulative unless I say otherwise in class.

Attendance: Three absences are allowed. More than ten minutes late for a class will count as an absence. For four absences you will be penalized a grade, unless there is a medical certificate justifying your absence.
